HVAC Service Technician

Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour

Position Description

This is a HVAC/Maintenance position with a primary emphasis on repairing HVAC units in a timely manner. The position is responsible for completing work orders that are generated by clients who are need of HVAC and general maintenance repairs.

Duties

  • Implementation and compliance to all operational and administrative policies and procedures. 
  • Direct control of material, equipment, tools and assigned vehicle. 
  • Ensure safety, fair and equal treatment to clients at all times. 
  • Review prints, drawings, and specifications. 
  • Work in conformance with up to date codes, ordinances, sketches, specifications, blueprints, written, and verbal instructions. 
  • Maintain logs, records, charts, etc., as required. 
  • Remove and replace fans, pumps, valves, compressors, condensing units, air handlers and other system components. 
  • Replenish lubricants and refrigerants. 
  • Read and make control adjustments using typical testing equipment such as a Freon leak tester, thermometer, humid-stat, volt-ohm meter, am-probe, refrigeration gauge set, etc. 
  • Operate welding equipment to perform pipe fitting, cutting, burning, brazing and soldering as necessary with typical HVAC repair work.
